I can help with your website wherever you are. However, being based in Newmarket, Suffolk, I’m ideally placed if you’re nearby and would like in-person advice, training or tuition.

One off and pay monthly options
You can pay for your design all at once or by monthly subscription.
Monthly plans include the whole shebang, with hosting, care and regular maintenance taken care of. You’ll also get a full redesign in year 3.
But if you want to manage things yourself, my websites are designed so you can do just that. You don’t need a lot of technical expertise and I’ll give you a simple guide to maintaining and updating your site.
About me
I’m a freelance web designer from Newmarket near Cambridge. The pandemic gave me the chance to retrain in something I loved doing and I’ve never looked back.
I don’t manage hundreds of websites so every project is personal to me. I love having a direct line to my customers and know that I’m making a difference.

Editing your website
Every website needs an update now and then, even if it’s just to change your prices or opening hours. You’ll always have the option to do this yourself, even if I host and/or manage it.
I’ll set you up with your own user account/s and a quick and easy guide to editing and publishing content.

I use WordPress for all my new web designs – because it’s pretty darn good.
- Future proof – WordPress is continuously developed and has a ton of community and supporting services, so it’s not going anywhere soon.
- Easy publish and edit your content – WordPress is a CMS (content management system). You don’t need coding skills to add or edit content.
- You own your website! – Unlike some other platforms, you keep 100% control.
What about content?
The copy for your website is key. It helps customers find what they want and boosts your search engine powers.
Whether you write your own content or I do is up to you. Writing your own content lets your expertise shine through and helps you stand out.
But if the thought of writing copy leaves you cold, or you’re new to writing for the web, I can do everything or help you plan and edit so you’re not on your own.
How it works
Plan
I’ll talk to you to get an understanding of your business and what you want from your website. I’ll also do my own research, looking into your industry, search engine analytics and what your competitors are up to.
Launch
After some final checks I’ll publish your website. I’ll be on hand for any issues and training, if you require it.
Design
With the plan in place I’ll start drafting the content, unless you’re doing this yourself. I’ll create a mock design for your approval, based on any guidelines or instructions you’ve given me.
Build
With the content ready, it’s time to build. I’ll check in with you regularly and let you know how long it should take.

FAQs
Do I need to provide the content/copy for my website?
You can but you don’t have to. I’ll give you an easy to follow step by step guide to creating content for your website. You might also want to provide pictures or images for your website, but this is optional.
If you would rather I write the copy I can do this. I can also help you plan and proof read content you have written for web optimisation.
Does the web design cost include hosting?
No, you are responsible for hosting costs. Although I will help you set this up and publish the website to your host. Hosting can be as little as £2.49 a month and I also offer hosting and maintenance separately.
Do you develop for e-commerce or booking systems?
Please get in touch and I may be able to offer a bespoke quote.

I've already got a website. Can you tell me if it's any good?
Yes! I offer website audits for £39. This includes performance and security checks and tips to improve your conversion rates and search engine ranking.
Can you develop a website for Wix, Squarespace or another platform?
I’m sorry, I don’t design websites on other platforms. But if you have an existing website built elsewhere I may be able to help.
